NEIGHBORHOOD BLOCK PARTY!

Join us Sunday, October 26, 2025 at Gardenside Park for a Block Party, sponsored by the Gardenside Neighborhood Association. Check back here for more details as they unfold!

This is a free neighborhood event to celebrate our neighborhood, meet and connect with neighbors, and enjoy our beautiful park.

Activities include:

1pm: Block party begins! Bring your own picnic. Beverages provided by GNA at the picnic pavilion.

1-4pm: Make pine cone bird feeders; join or renew your GNA membership ($20/year per household) for a chance to win a door prize; swap your books and/or jigsaw puzzles at the swap table; connect and meet neighbors with the Neighbor Connections scavenger hunt and sign-up sheets; enjoy beautiful Gardenside Park!


1pm: “The Lexignton Old Time Music String Band” with Gardenside resident Susan Staton and friends.

2pm: Ukulele sing-a-long with LUCKY (Lexington Ukulele Club of Kentucky).

2pm: Kids ages 5-10 are invited to play field games with Coach Ella.

3pm: Karaoke with Cowboy Cam!

TREE WEEK 2025

There will be a special TREE WEEK event at Gardenside Park Saturday, October 18, 2025

Learn how to successfully plant, water, and mulch container trees.

Join the event hosts for the installation of container trees in the Gardenside Park stream buffer.

WHEN: October 18, 2025 from 10am - 11:30am

WHERE: Gardenside Park, 1835 Yorktown Road, Lexington, KY
