Who We Are
The Gardenside Neighborhood Association includes approximately 800 homes located in West-Central Lexington. Established in 1950, Gardenside is home to a wide variety of residents. The GNA is roughly framed by Beacon Hill, Lane Allen, Celia and Appamatox. WIth regard to membership these borders are stretchy--even if you're outside the boundary you should definitely Get Involved.
Gardenside Neighborhood Association offers many opportunities to get involved: volunteering at James Lane Allen Elementary, working on stream restoration, organizing and participating in a garden tour or a yard sale, planning summer activities in the park, organizing social events. Since spring of 2014, at least 130 neighbors have devoted a total of more than 2000 hours toward making our neighborhood a better place to live, making new friends in the process. Join the fun!
